You ve purchased a quality built storm screen door from larson. Hold closer assembly level 3 below the door window and the jamb bracket 1 4 back from the z bar. Refer to the instructions on the pneumatic screen door closer label. 3 install the door brackets a for the top closer.

To close the door open the door a bit more to take pressure off the hold open washer. Modification of door will void warranty. Assemble the standard closer and the door bracket using the long pin and o ring as shown in fig. Slide the washer back past the knobs on the rod and against the jamb bracket.

Now instead of slamming shut the door will slow down as it nears the door catch. Mark jamb bracket holes and two. Attach this assembly to the top jamb bracket using the short pin. See arrow on bracket close and latch door.
