Lexus Is300 Door Lock Problem

I noted 4 screws 2 on bottem 1 at door lock and 1 at handle.

Lexus is300 door lock problem.

I f i manually lock it from inside before hiting the lock button on the remoe it sounds normal. Hi had a problem with power windows in 2000 lexus rx300 the master switch in the driver door was replaced but now only 1 door lock passenger on driver side is responding correctly to the power doo. I briefly looked at taking the door panel off to take a better look but i guess i got nervous to proceed further. I had to replace my drivers door lock after i stopped using the car for weeks at a time and it got weak at about 10 years old. Any ideas would be great before i inquire with a lexus dealer. I have a 2006 lexus is 350 just bought it 2 months ago and have been recently having problems with the driver s door lock it will not lock fron inside using the switch or using the remote outside. The rear passenger door is now getting weak and i thought i had to buy the lexus part to retain all features of security the drivers door operates many switches but i don t think the rear does.

This is good to know. I also noted the plastic plugs on the sides.
