In some cases it has been re packaged and sold as caravan sealant. Some leaks can be hard to track to their source but one i recently found was a pretty straightforward job. Learn from my mistake. The vent was carefully placed in the aperture so it sat just proud of the roof. I used a non setting bedding silicon sold by a caravan accessories shop. This type of product allows for some vibration and a small amount of movement.

There are many possible parts of the roof potentially leaking but one of the most common ones is the area around the roof vent. Your roof is most likely leaking at a weaker point for example a join or seam if you have a canvas element to your pop top caravan so check those spots first. We re not suggesting a weekly wash but one every few months using a mild detergent or car wash solution will do the trick.
